There’s nothing worse than running out of alcohol at a party…

You want your guests to have an amazing time at your event, party or amazing dinner. Part of ensuring that they do have a memorable and great time is making sure that those glasses don’t run dry too early into the evening.

Smaller parties are by far easier to plan for. With a worst case scenario of only a few extra bottles if you over-planned your event. A great rule of thumb is to assume that your guests will have at least two drinks during the first hour, and about one drink every hour after that.

If you’re offering both wine and beer and you’re not quite sure how your guest will gravitate towards one or the other it’s usually a safe bet to go heavier on the wine (About 60/40 wine to beer).
